Luna-626.5.LN-4: A Lunarpunk Moon Colony of Post-Modern Witchcraft

Far from Earth and removed from many of its problems, humanity’s moon bases form a series of connected structures across the surface of the Moon.  These are partly exposed domes and partly underground bunkers, joined together through a spidery network of tunnels.  Each habitat is self sustaining, even the smaller fringe towns.

The largest module cluster in the center of all this colonization is a thriving metropolis.  Far removed from it though is a temple that was built in veneration of the first astronauts to land on the Moon.  This temple contains Altars to Armstrong and Aldrin, and enshrines the first footprints of humans on the Moon.

Hidden from the lunar colonists is the fact that, over the decades of building up the colonies, the hidden but civilized masquerade of werewolves have come to live on the moon as well.  Their presence still a secret, these insular people have gained absolute control over their powers and forms due to their proximity to the moon, unlocking even greater powers to shift reality according to arcane effects of the lunar cycles.

These effects are woven into the narrative structure of a changed wicca of the future.  It often involves shadow magic and sympathetic foci, but it usually involves subtle effects on the human mind.  Ultimately its greatest ability is to induce forgetting, so that the presence of werewolves and witches remains forever obscured from lunar colonists.
